Cemetery at 7am

Ying's van reached fourth bro's house at 545 am. It then proceeded to angsali to meet up with the third bro who would be driving teckie's car. The plan was for the van to trail the car as Ying was not familiar with the route. The group did a last check of the materials before they moved off.

For the first 10 mins, everything was going according to plan. The car was within the sight of the van. Then more and more cars cut in. Before we knew it, we were about 4 to 5 cars behind teckie's car. At one critical turn, we lost sight of teckie car completely. There we were completely relying on ying's limited memory of the road directions to the destination. The van made a wrong turn to chua chua kang town. Before we knew it, we were no way near the ceremetery. By then, it was 5 mins to 7am. The van was still making circles round the yew tee mrt. At the same time, the car had reached the entrance to the cemetery. Dou, who was in the car, made a call to the van. After identifying the location of the van, the van decided to wait at the mobil station that was near to the MRT station and waited to be rescued. After waiting for another 10 mins, the car found us. And here we were, now back on tracked. The 2 vehicles remained in touch, thanks to the modern telephony. We finally reached the destination at 730am. At this point in time, we realised that we had forgotten to bring the photo of ah po for the tomb. Sometimes the perfect plan would al has its fair share of hitches.

The cemetery builder was already there. He said he would come to collect the photo. So the group spilt into 2. One group prepared for the ritual while the other group discussed with the builder on tomb building. The ritual started at 745am and ended at 8 + am.
