Goodbye 2006, Welcome 2007

Tks folks for a wonderful 2006.

Let's us recap some of the events that had happened in 2006.

1. In Jan, Caiyi and Xue Jing were wedded.
2. In end Apr, Andy and Mary were wedded.
3. In Sep, we welcomed the arrival of Manfred.
4. In Oct, our dear Lynn and Chloe were in Singapore for a short stay. And our next generation, Ren, Chloe and Manfred met for the first time.
5. On 11 Nov06, we started our first family gathering at my place.
6. In Dec, Daryl and Estelle were ROMed.

While we say goodbye to 2006, we open our hands to welcome 2007.

On 1 Jan 07, Caiyi and Xuejing played hosts to our second family gathering at their new house in PC. Fourteen of us were there including Edwin's girl friend, Jarmane and the two boys, Ren and Manfred. Simon could not join us as he accidentally cut his hand and was put out of action.

The idea of gift exchange, initiated by Estelle, was well received by all. What made it interesting was the opening of the gift after the "lucky draw" conducted by Estelle and Xuejing. All had fun.

We were taught to play the game called "Rumming" by Xuejing. Some said the game was "Toa Da Di" in disguise. Others said the game was like Uno. It got most of us excited again.

I am definitely looking forward to our next outing!
